Originally, they company's website included an informative, honest, and straight-forward on-line history of the Rockerfeller years. Unfortunately, this history has been watered down in recent years, and details of the dark years have been deleted.

This is a excellant book about the history and the power of the Standard Oil Trust. It descibes the use of the Union Tank Car as the means by which power was maintained over competing oil companies -- often with the government being duped into helping.
