Today, throughout almost
all of the United States,
legal immigrants (who
are not yet citizens) must
pay taxes:

• Payroll taxes
• Sales taxes
• Income taxes
• Property taxes
• Gasoline taxes
• You-name-it taxes

... yet they are not
allowed to vote.
