Political Factoid
The real problem is not
that the IRS so thoroughly
scrutinized tax exemption
applications from conservative
groups,
... but that the IRS did
not do so as thoroughly
for such applications
from liberal groups.
In most cases, the applicants from
neither group deserve tax exemption
status, as their initial, primary, and
underneath motivation is political.
