Louisiana and the NRA have
successfully championed the
arming of convicted felons
with large-capacity assault
weapons and other guns.
- The NRA, with Gov.Jindal's (R-LA)
endorsement, sponsored a bill
that passed the legislature, that
requires all gun control laws
to be automatically treated as
"unconstitutional"
... unless and until proven otherwise.
- A convicted felon has already won in
court, and been released from custody
by this law (after having been caught
riding in a car with an AK47, a high
capacity magazine, and a pistol).
- The NRA has similar legislation
pending in other states:
