Oklahoma voters have spoken
... they have declared the Muslim community to be a threat to Oklahoma.
- During the 2010 November elections, voters approved (7 to 3) an amendment
that bars Muslims (or anyone else) from trying to apply anything from Islamic religious law or international law in Oklahoma state courts.
- This Oklahoma amendment also invalidates wills and other private documents that are written in compliance with Muslim law.
(As of this posting, there is a federal court order preventing this amendment from being certified and taking effect.)
