Wealthy people have much of their
income from other than wages,
i.e., dividends, interest, and capital
gains, none of which are taxed
to pay for Social Security, Medicare,
or Medicaid.
And the Republicans want further tax reductions
for the wealthy --- and Social Security, Medicare,
and Medicaid spending cuts for the poor, the
disadvantaged, and the middle class.
