Congress was willing to vote a
Constitutional amendment (22)
to put term limits on presidents,
but is certainly unwilling to do
likewise for itself.
If Newt Gingrich and the Republicans can
take control of the White House and both
houses of Congress in 2012, they will
undoubtedly try to make their terms, like
their "tax cuts for the wealthy," permanent.
