- Federal Farm Credit Banks (there are four of them)

- Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation
stockholder-owned, publicly-traded company
- Federal Home Loan banks (there are 12 of them)
Owned and governed by their member financial institutions, including commercial banks, thrifts, credit unions and insurance companies.
