Political Factoid

If everyone's income were to go up 20%,
the income of the wealthy would naturally
go up more - in terms of dollars - than
would the income of the poor.
But real growth has not been a uniform percentage.
The actual income growth has been exponential.
That is, the "percentage" of increase is greater
for the wealthy than is the "percentage" of
increase for the poor.
In other words, the income growth inequality is staggering.
