For-profit corporations routinely abandon
low performers:
- Slow selling products
- Low performing stores
- Un-profitable markets
- etc.
Public schools should do likewise?
- Low performing students who
drag down district scores.
- Poor districts with low tax bases.
- Schools with poor parental turnout.
- etc.
In either case, employees are simply expendable.
