Political Factoid

Officials at Germany's space agency
calculated a 1-in-2,000 chance that
someone on Earth would be hit by debris
from their 2.4-metric ton X-ray space
observatory when it plunged to earth,
... but even if they were hit, not to
worry as the risk of serious injury
from such an event remained
extremely remote.
A Space Lottery --
with 300 million Americans automatically entered,
each with 1 in 2000 chance of winning?
