slashed the state 2011 fire fighting
budget by 74% and then begged
President Obama for federal help
fighting wild fires across Texas.
This was after he got into similar
trouble in 2010.
The governor did not have the guts
to acknowledge his error,
nor the courage to ask for help
from his wealthy corporate friends,
whose property was at most risk.
