Political Factoid
Both the federal government
and the American public need
to spend less and curb their debt.
However, the Republicans, and
the public, are cutting the
wrong spending.
- The Republicans are cutting back on
programs that help Americans but continue
to spend unrestrained on overseas military
operations. Such operations do little
to protect Americans at home, yet cost
thousands of American lives.
- Consumers are saving more - instead of
spending to help fuel the economy -
but they are not cutting back on buying
imported clothes, toys, electronics, etc.
