insignias, who were grabbing
people off the streets of Portland
(for example), were assumed to be
federal officers under the control
of Donald Trump,
. . . but they could just
as well have been Russian
loyalists under the control
of Vladimir Putin
. . . (or Trump loyalists
under the control of Putin).
