If your anti-virus software
says it is checking your
browser* for problems, it is
probably deceiving you.
It most likely is checking only one of
the multiple browsers in your systems.

For example:
- If you have a Windows system
you no doubt have both
Microsoft browsers, i.e.,
Internet Explorer and Edge.
- You probably also have
Google Chrome (installed
by your anti-virus program)
- You may have Firefox, Opera,
or other browsers installed
also.
