Political Factoid

As the need for water conservation
became increasingly obvious to most
everyone (except the idiots and the greedy),
the government and industry established
standards to limited the average
toilet flush to 1.3 gallons
(down from the traditional 3 to 5 gallons).
The knowledgeable experts
knew that it takes less to flush
down pee that it does to flush
down solid excrement (a.k.a. poo).
Various manufacturers were smart
enough to arrange for less-water
flushes for No.1 and have more water
for flushing No.2, while still meeting
the 1.3 gallon average requirement.
A quick flip of the handle gives
a short flush, while holding the
handle down longer gives a
bigger No.2 flush.
