Political Factoid
No longer is "doctor-patient"
personal medical information very private.
- The courts have long ruled that
any observations, measurements,
analyses, etc. made by a doctor
belong to the doctor,
not to the patient.
- Patients are coerced into signing
permission for the doctor to
share their medical information
with insurance companies, and
a host of other players with
their hands in the game.*
- That information is worth lots of
money to many big companies
(as evident by their willingess to pay
heartily for it).
