- The sales pitch is that
your donation will be
matched dollar for dollar
"by" another generous
benefactor.
- In reality, that other
donor is simply trying
to con "you" into
matching "his" giving.
A lot of things are like that, just the
opposite of what they first seem,
especially in politics.
