conservatives (e.g., Republicans)
need to be reminded that the
Founding Fathers (i.e., the writers
of the U.S. Constitution
) were open
to, and considerate of, people
with differing religious views,
. . .  as evident by the
Presidential oath (Article II,
Section one, Clause 8
)
where it says, "solemnly
swear (or affirm)
"*
* in deference to those who object to
"swearing," due to their religious beliefs.
