Political Factoid

Economies would be more stable
if governments heavily taxed
corporations that speculate on
commodities (e.g., oil) which
they do not use.*

* This excludes companies who hedge
on their own consumables, for example
airlines hedge with long term contracts
for jet fuel and Starbucks hedges with
long-range contracts for coffee beans.
