The "piratization" of Social Security has already begun.
- The Government will no longer mail Social Security checks to new recipients (as of May 1, 2011).
Social Security checks will no longer be mailed to existing recipients as of March, 2013.
- The government will no longer give your Social Security payment directly to you.
- They will only give your money to a "for-profit" third party.*
- Many people already have selected a similar arrangement for "direct deposit" with the bank of their choice.*
- In the new arrangement, primarily for those in the lower classes who do not have a bank account, there is no choice.
