Republican Rick Perry,
Governor of Texas,
used federal stimulus money
to plug 93% of his Texas budget
shortfall in 2010.
This is after he essentially "spat"
on the federal stimulus plan and even
threatened to move Texas back across
the border (i.e., secede from the
United States).
Then, in 2011, while fighting against
federal tax revenue increases, the
hypocrite had the audacity to write
a letter to the President begging for
federal money because Texas was
having a problem with wild fires.
