incandescent lights are being phased out
starting with 100-watt bulbs in 2012,
with manufacturing of 75-, 60- and
40-watt bulbs, also.
Michele Bachmann and other conservatives are
outspoken critics of this attempt to reduce U.S.
dependence upon foreign oil, dirty coal, and
high-risk nuclear energy, and green-house gases.
